Port of Dover

Ferry Timetables
(Dover, Kent, England, UK)

Before the advent of the Channel Tunnel and budget airlines, travelling from Dover to France by ferry was the only cost effective way of getting to Europe and the many ferry services were vital. Although the Channel Tunnel has taken much passenger traffic from the ferry companies, travelling to Calais, Dunkirk and Boulogne from Dover by ferry is still hugely popular and cost effective.

P&O Ferries has been running return crossings to Calais for years and is still the main ferry operator here. SeaFrance also serves Calais from Dover, with Norfolkline serving Dunkirk and SpeedFerries serving Boulogne.
